This Privacy Policy defines how personal data is handled in Sandocs Web in strict compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation EU 2016/679).

1. Zero-Retention Architecture

Sandocs Web is engineered around the principle of Privacy by Design (Article 25 GDPR). The service is intended for instant document sanitization without ever storing, archiving, or sharing your identity documents.

When you submit an image for automatic detection, it is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS directly into ephemeral memory (RAM). The process detects protected fields, applies redaction masks, and returns the result to your browser. Immediately following the HTTP response, the RAM buffer is erased. Sandocs Web maintains no databases, disk caches, or log repositories containing user document files.

2. No User Registration or Profiles

Sandocs Web operates with zero user accounts. You never need to supply an email address, phone number, name, or password. Every user session is completely isolated, ephemeral, and anonymous.

3. Client-Side Browser Processing

All manual mask adjustments, styling options (solid block, pixelation, blur), and final PNG pixel burning are executed locally inside your browser using HTML5 Canvas. The resulting redacted file is downloaded directly from your browser memory.

4. Data Subject Rights Under GDPR

Because Sandocs Web does not retain personal identifiers, we hold no user profiles. Nevertheless, users retain all statutory rights provided by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR. For any questions regarding system architecture, contact our technical team.
